About Maiden Flight
We are friends from the neighborhood that are both interested in flying. One of our neighbors is a flight instructor who promised to teach us how to fly! In turn, we are going to teach you what we learn.
In learning about flying, we are also going to explore the principals of STEM:
Science, Technology, Engineering & Math
We have been lucky enough to grow up near people who fly. We always thought it was only for wealthy people, but we are finding that aviation is accessible for everyone. We will share on here what we learn about the resources available to become pilots.

I am lucky enough to grow up in a neighborhood that has a flight instructor and a best friend that is also interested in Aviation. Learning about general aviation has caused me to ask so many more questions about the world around us and has led me to become extremely interested in Math and Science. But that’s not all that I do, I am also learning languages and music and love to ski in the winter.
I take school seriously because I do not want any obstacles in my future. Just try and stop me, or better yet, come soar with me.

It was so great to meet Clara and find out that we are both interested in flying. Clara introduced me to the flight instructor in our neighborhood who is teaching us everything about flying. You don’t need to live in our neighborhood to learn about flying, because we are going to teach you what we learn. Aviation satisfies my love of adventure and piques my curiosity in how the world works. I am now also interested in Technology and Engineering. But I don’t just study, traveling means meeting people who don’t speak my language so I am learning other languages, guitar and, like Clara, love to ski.
Everything I learn, leads me to want to learn more. I don’t think I will ever stop wanting to learn. The world is just SO big! I can’t wait to explore it and take you all along with me as we go.
